Power-balls
these power balls I frequently do on the weekend, and then take me with which to work. They give quick energy and are also still very healthy. The mass is sufficient for about 15 - 20 balls, depending on how large they are made. I have about the size of walnuts. I give it the same in a lockable box and set it in the fridge so they stay fresh for several days.
Ingredients:
50g 50g raisins dates
figs 50g 4 pcs sep. Apricot
30g nuts (cashew, walnuts, almonds, ... either a variety or mixed)
4 pieces candied ginger
2 tablespoons coconut flakes
+ coconut flakes for rolling
Preparation:
the dried fruit and small ginger cut, chop the nuts, then all the ingredients together Grind in a food processor good. From this mass then form the balls, and last but not roll in the coconut flakes.
